Thanks for this, John-Paul. I have completed the initial review, and this document seems to be in order.

Prior to 60-day public comment, we should receive an Area Director review.

Per the standards council telecon of January 11, this is now approved for 60-day public comment. OGF is working on a email server migration, which we will complete before announcing public comment.

Once it is announced, the WG and community members should be asked to read & review the document.

Standards council noted that the header for section 14 says, "Intellectual Attributes Statement," but it is the standard OGF boilerplate "Intellectual Property Statement." While the document does have discussion of intellectual attributes, it is preferable that the section label follow the OGF standard of "Intellectual Property Statement."

I made a version of the document with changes accepted. I also made the header change mentioned, fixed the "obsolete" text to align with GFG #152 (1st page), and made the copyright statements (2009, 2019). No other changes.

We were informed that some comments will arrive soon, so public comment is extended until the end of August.

Per the standards council teleconference on October 18 2019: Some comments were provided to authors. Additional comments are still expected. We await these further comments.

Dear authors/editors: The tracker wasn't updated yet, to reflect current status, so I am doing this now.

My understanding from today's standards council telecon is that all comments were provided by email in October/November 2019, and that the working group has had a phone call to discuss next steps.

These next steps, basically, are for the WG to submit a final document that incorporates needed changes due to public comment (including the late-arriving comments mentioned above).

Please feel free to check with me, or with Jens (who is acting as your Area Director for this purpose), as needed.

Thanks. Greg

It's been another few months, so I am providing another update. The standards council discussed that the GLUE working group has some energy and interests, and likely also needs some revitalization to continue on their activities.

Meanwhile, this document awaits integration of comments, and submission of a final version for standards council review. Please let me know if there is anything I can do to assist.
