Description

The spec says:

fn:name()
fn:name($arg?)

Returns the name of the context node (".") or the specified node as an xs:string. Returns zero-length string if the arg is an empty sequence. Returns an xs:string in the form of an xs:QName otherwise.

The term 'Node' is not in the glossary, yet it is used extensively.

I think it means the same thing as Element Information Item in the Infoset.
