Missing Action Instance Format and examples

The document does not contain examples or format specifications for action invocations (action instances). How can an action be triggered on a specific resource instance? Is the location in resources/RESOURCE/actions/ACTION/location enough? What about its attributes?

I believe this is now covered by the current json (e.g. see L287 of that spec) and core specs.
