associating an OpenID URL with an existing account.¶

This procedure is not really difficult, but slightly cumbersome. We intent to leave it this way though, as we expect that it is rarely needed. Anyway, if you have an existing account, and would like to associate an OpenID URL with it, then go to My Account, and enter the OpenID URL identifying you in the respective field. Well, so far it is simple enough, but quite often you do not know your OpenID URL. If so, then log out, and create a new account, using the OpenID provider of your choice. For that account, you will find a valid OpenID URL under the account settings again -- copy that URL, logout again, login to your old account using the password, and paste the URL in the account settings -- voila! The OpenID temp account can then be deleted.
