- Agenda bashing
No changes to the agenda were
made
- Demo plans for GGF7
- Viktor agreed to set up (with Tom to deliver) a CIM event processing demo.
- Andrea agreed to set up and deliver a CIM Browser demo
- Peter said that Andrea's demo would be the most important of the two,
given our focus on JSIM. The event demo would be showing capabilities of CIM
that might factor into the future for JSIM.
- Time slot plans for GGF7
- Peter will request one 90 minute slot, to be allocated roughly as:
- 5 mins Agenda
- 15 mins Presentation of current JSIM model and open issues
- 30 mins Discussion of open issues
- 20 mins Demo of CIM Browser and JSIM classes (static instances)
- 20 mins Demo of event processing with CIM
- Work relationship to Job Submission Description Language group
- Peter proposed working more closely with the JSDL-WG. See
http://www.epcc.ed.ac.uk/~ali/WORK/GGF/JSDL-WG/. Where semantics of job
attributes are overlapping, they should be the same between the groups, and
we should maintain open communication.
- Any other business
Andrea made some comments on the current
document about the weak binding of jobs to queues. She will send an email to
the list with her comments on the current JSIM draft.
