Minutes of the 22-Apr-2003 CGS-WG telephone conference

A CGS-WG telecon was held on April 22, 2003 (8AM Pacific time). Attendees were:

    6 andreaw@cisco.com Address meaning of Priority Andrea suggested that perhaps we should leave the CIM priority mechanism as is, and make it the responsibility of providers to translate the meaning of priority accordingly.  She will propose this solution to the mail list.
    8 stokese@us.ibm.com Need job completion statistics Tom sent an email to Jenny Schopf asking for advice, and she suggested this was out of scope for the group.  See the full bug report for details.  Tom will contact the UR WG to see if there is overlap there, and then Tom will make a proposal to resolve this issue to the mail list.
    9 andreaw@cisco.com Resolve DeleteOnCompletion with OGSA lifecycle Andrea sent an email to the list on this topic.  It was agreed on the call that we should regard jobs as services to be in line with OGSA. This means that TTL information should be inherited from ManagedSystemElement, or some similar solution.  Andrea will propose this solution to the DMTF.
    14 mihajlov@de.ibm.com Heidi Neumann's proposed class/association additions (OpenPBS) Viktor said he is trying to contact someone from the LoadLeveler team, but they are on vacation at this time.
