ID | Owner | Summary | Discussion |
---|---|---|---|
4 | andreaw@cisco.com | Job needs RecurringElapsedTime | Andrea sent email: submitted a Change Request to the DMTF System/Devices WG addressing both bugs 4 and 5. The CR will be voted this week, and I can provide additional status on the next call. I do not expect any issues |
5 | andreaw@cisco.com | JobScheduleSettingData not Scoped | |
8 | stokese@us.ibm.com | Need job completion statistics | Tom sent summary statistics data from PBS, and this is in line with what we are after. Tom will follow up by reviewing GGF Scheduling area WG's, and make a proposal to the list with the statistics that we should include in our first official JSIM release. |
14 | mihajlov@de.ibm.com | Heidi Neumann's proposed class/association additions (OpenPBS) | Viktor and Heidi have taken over this issue, and will make a specific proposal to the list for adoption in the first official JSIM release. |
We discussed delivering JSIM, in addition to UML and MOF, as LDAP and/or XML. It was suggested and agreed to that there is not much value in working on an LDAP schema at this point in time. At least it is more vital that we produce an XSD that is compatible with the OGSA work. There are no tools yet to convert MOF to XSD, so this will need to be a mostly manual process. But we don't see it as very difficult, just time consuming. Peter agreed to do the initial work on the XSD, and Ellen will send some CRM samples of MOF to XSD conversion that will be available here.
It was proposed and agreed to that Larry should be made a co-chair of the group.
