Minutes from November 10th call were approved. 2) Action report Completed and retired actions: - Dave to book OGF19 sessions. - Stephen and Dave to review the EMS/Data scenario and send to Andreas. Ongoing actions: - Dave to prod DMI-WG and GSM-WG re Data Transfer section - Chris to send out second draft of GFS scenario. - Dave to create or reuse scenario slides for main OGSA slide set. - Stephen & Dave to review scenarios doc from a storage perspective. - Dave to draft metadata catalog scenario & services (cf. SRB) - Stephen to recheck/update scenarios document following F2F discussions. - Stephen and Dave to further revise the EMS/Data scenarios and send to Andreas. Appendix 2 summary of general interfaces – to be completed in final draft? Appendix 3 mappings to specs – to be completed in final draft? - What about asynchronous operations and aborting requests? Stephen and Dave have drafted revised EMS/Data scenarios 4) Discussion of EMS/Data scenarios - add wrapper symbol to diagram guide - add motivation section, explaining that use of JSDL+RNS abstracts underlying implementation, allowing performance optimisations and/or use of alternative components. Also that WS allow different implementations to communicate; also that SOAP should not be used for large-scale data transfer. - number the scenarios - change "comments" to "steps" and number the items - explain more about the dotted RNS box - make data transfer in the last scenario go between resources - BES and DTS may be implemented by the same software component Stephen and Dave to revise the EMS/Data scenarios document. 5) DONM.
