Compute instances

Added by Boris Parak over 7 years ago

(section 3.1 + parts of 3.5.1 & 3.5.2)
We have to clearly state what is required to create a Compute instance. Currently the relationship between attributes (almost all optional right now) and resource templates is vague at best.
A valid instance must contain either
~~
occi.compute.architecture
&
occi.compute.cores
&
occi.compute.memory
~~
or a
~~
resource_tpl
~~

If not, we need to specify that the service provider can choose a default resource_tpl (no additional details).

We need to clarify, an os_tpl is required to create a compute instance. A while ago, we decided that storage links cannot be used as a replacement for os_tpl. If not, we need to specify that an os_tpl or storagelink is included.
